We just want to confirm the 2014 event will be on Saturday, April 26th!
The committee is getting busy, planning and praying for another wonderful event.
Location? QLN Conference Center in Oceanside, 1938 Avenida del Oro. What does this mean? This means 10,500 square feet of room for crafting, eating, dancing and what ever else may come along during our 12 hours of celebrating.
Oh say...we want your suggestions on how we can improve the 2014 event.
One idea we've come up with is to give you the option of reserving either just your seat...or a group of seats for you and your friends, and we could set your tables up all together! How about that? That way, you'd for sure all be sitting together.
Keep your eyes posted for emails and snail mail coming to your homes if you have been with us in the past for more registration information, or if you want to be included in the notices, give us an email at craftingforlife@yahoo.com
Registration begins January 19, 2014. Who will be the first to sign up this year? Will it be a single seat or a group?
You can even start working on the 50/50 team donations too. Life is so very precious and we believe each new life deserves more than just a 50/50 chance.
Send us an email to craftingforlife@yahoo.com if you have ideas and suggestions, or if you want to be included in the notifications.
See you all soon!
Crafting for Life is an annual event benefiting the Pregnancy Resource Center in Vista, a nonprofit 501(c)(3)organization. Come bring your favorite craft (or come and learn one) and join us for a day of fellowship, food, fun and much, much more. Learn how to knit on a loom, crochet, make baby announcements, or just enjoy the day working on your own craft. The Pregnancy Resource Center exists to help women who are faced with an unplanned pregnancy.

Another Successful Event!
We just want to thank all of our sponsors, and everyone who attended and served at the event this year.
The location was great! Calvary Chapel Oceanside's Cafe was just right! That's where we held the main event, the teachings were upstairs, we had an awesome sound system and the lighting was just right. A little bit of trouble with the height of the chairs to the tables, but we'll get that fixed for next year...promise!
There was joyful laughter, celebration of life, and even some tears when the videos and testimonies touched our hearts.
The Mobile RV Unit was there for the ladies to see and take a tour of. This center not only saves lives at the location, but also on the road! Praise the Lord!!
Everyone who attended had a great time, the teachings were awesome and the food? Well, there's no words to describe the food except FANTASTIC!!
With your help, we were able to raise over $12,000 for the Center. Although it may not seem like a lot of money, compaired to so many other fundraising events, we know that every penny donated will help save another baby's life. We apologize for not having enough room to list all of our sponsors, but you know who you are, and so does our Lord.... Thank you again!
We'll try to get some pictures posted when they come in.
See you for our 4th Annual Crafting for Life on April 26, 2014.
So with that, God's blessings be with you,
The Crafting for Life Committee

Updates for You Today
Hi everyone!
We just want to give you a quick update on how the craft classes and registrations are coming along.
We have some wonderful ladies and men who are willing to give up their personal time at the event to teach you some awesome techniques in various crafts. In a few days, we'll be posting some samples of the crafts we'll have for you to sink into. What? You just want to do your own craft? No worries mate!
Bring your own craft or take some of our classes, or do both! The day is for you to enjoy the fellowship of other people who enjoy crafting, eat good food, maybe partake in bidding on a basket or two, and you'll be able to learn a lot about the services the Center has to offer to the women in our community...all good stuff! We're even planning on having the mobile RV unit here for you to see.
How's the registration coming along?? FANTASTIC! There are between 4-7 sign ups per week, so if you haven't signed up yet, and really want to come, give us an email at craftingforlife@yahoo.com if you prefer to not sign up online. We try to update the selling site and number of seats available weekly.
Ever After Scrapbooks is donating all of the material to make these really, really darling Mother's Day or Birthday accordian cards. It will be your choice as to how you want to label it. We'll have one posted in a day or two, along with some awesome tiles Vergie & Sue will be teaching. If you took their class last year, this one is even better. Have you ever worked with watercolors? Tadia will be teaching a class working with watercolors and stickles. What are stickles you want to know? Their really cool glitter glue stuff..wait 'til you see.
Anyway, that's what's going on today. Take a look at the new sponsors on board with us...more to follow too, I promise.
See you soon!
